Here is an online course in Cherokee under construction. I've just finished taking Cherokee 1 with Mr. Ed Fields at Cherokee Nation webstie http://cherokee.org and am basing this class on the notes, slides, and sounds bites of Ed Fields presentation.  Also Casey W. (ccfalcon) has graciously concented to the use of his excellent and entertaining notes. Also Bob Cornish has provided his compilation and recodings from which I'll be taking Ed's sound bites. This course is to accompany Cherokee 2 offered live online by the Cherokee Nation, Oklahoma. In this course you will find all the lessons, some sound bites for pronunciation. Hotpotato quizzes, flashcards, fill in the gap exercizes that I've created for each lesson will be available to study with. Also look for supplimental materials that are of cultural interest to a student of Cherokee.

The interactive commonent will be forums to ask questions and chats to practise with. Participants are encouraged to hold their own weekly chats in Tsalagi! Add to the vocabulary, and help each other learn.
